The Dead Ball era (1903-1919) occurred during a time when both the 'game' and the nation experienced dramatic growth pains. Today, Baseball owes a large debt to the players, owners, and fans who carried the 'national pastime' on their shoulders. The mission of Deadball.com is to acknowledge and pay tribute to the ball players of this era who played and loved the game.
