Famed shortstop of the $100,000 Athletics infield, Jack teamed with second baseman Eddie Collins (Hall of Fame Inductee) and was as feared a double-play combo as the famous 'Tinker to Evers' duo with the mighty Cubs. Jack managed the Boston Red Sox and assisted in converting a young Babe Ruth from a star pitcher to the 'Sultan of Swat'.
