Fred was a power hitter who once shared the home run title with Wildfire Schulte and Jake Stahl in 1910 by hitting
10 round trippers. In the latter part of his career, Fred hit 11 and 15 home runs in his 2 year Federal League
stay. Back in the minors, Fred hit 30 HR's in 1920, 35 in 1921 and 38 in 1924 while playing for Wichita in the
famed Texas League.
