George was a speed demon and leadoff hitter for John McGraw's World Champion New York
Giants from 1903 through 1905. His speed and good hitting were the main reasons why George was so effective and
exciting as a run producer. In 1903, George scored 105 times and had 185 safeties. In 1904-5, George used his lightening
speed to score 99 and 95 runs respectively.
