Babe Ruth broke in as a pitcher the first year that 'Wild Bill' managed Boston. Babe called Bill Carrigan the best
manager he ever had played for. Carrigan piloted the Bosox to consecutive World Series titles in 1915 and 1916,
the last time Boston has won the Fall Classic. In 1946, Bill received the great honor of being selected to the
Baseball Hall of Fame's Honor Roll.
